Misadventures in Boonie Stomping 3

Last days in Guam, a little coconut questing and one more boonie stomp. Will we stomp successfully? My money's on no.

A piece of their view.

Guam palm tree
One of the palm trees in their backyard. Inspired by those beacons of green coconutty-ness, we decide that one must be ours.

Our weapon of choice: the handle of a pool skimmer.

Success! (after 20 minutes and 2 or 3 gallons of sweat)

Next step: get a machete!

And use it.

Sweet, sweet nectar of success.

OK, one more stomp for good measure. Hopefully, it will go smoothly ...

Tarzan falls stomp
Well, maybe it will be a little muddy.

And we may have lost the path somewhere.

Tarzan falls stomp
I bet if we wade for a while, we'll find either the path or the falls.

"Brett, do you see a waterfall?" "No, I can see a jungle, some hot walking, us getting lost again on the way back to our car, never actually seeing the waterfall, and then leaving Guam." "Oh, at least we got some pictures."
